thats because downforeveryone just checks wether the site exists at all. the Domain parking site is reachable so its not technically down.

technically, it is up, it is reachable and points to a server. that all downforeveryone can check. it cant check that the content of the site might just be a parked site.

it has been confirmed working from some people who didn't work before
so, I don't know what's going on

basically, the domain expired today. the domain parking service set the domain to parked and changed the dns entry to point to the parking website. the change propagates through the DNS servers slowly, as is the design of DNS.

Gateway notices the domain expired and they renew their subscription. the hoster then changes the DNS entry again and the change propagates slowly through the DNS system. some DNS servers get this change faster then others some still have the intermediate entry. The DNS system is designed decentralized, but that means changes to DNS entries might not be reflected instantly all over the system.
