It's your dns cache. It is down, but your dns cache is still pointing to the correct ip address.
If it's my DNS cache, explain to me how my phone which has never connected before to the site can access it on 4G. Again, never connected before to it with my phone.

My guess would be that the router (in this case your 4G connection trasmitter thingy) has a dns cache, and someone has used their 4G in your area to access it in the past? That's my guess, it's probably completely wrong and breaks all the rules of the internet but hey, I tried my best ;)

Hehe, I highly doubt anyone knows what a 3DS is around these parts much less what a GW is or what their site is xD

I'm assuming that the site is having issues with particular countries??? IDK really, but it doesn't seem down for most people.

Theres a little thing called DNS propagation. Its like caching but on the server side, for example:

The server in Brazil hasn't been told to change the ips from the cloudflare ones (actual gateway)
However, the Canada one has. (parked domain)

This just gave me an idea.

EDIT: N0pE.jpEg (tried accessing it via direct IP, poop happened)

If you were thinking to put the ip as the url, nope since it uses cloudflare.
However, if you open up your hosts file and put
Code:
104.28.14.79 gateway-3ds.com
it might work.

I'm sorry but are we or are we not allowed to mention the site? Some people go out of their way to not mention it (see above) while others just do anyway and no-one notices.
