But then again, considering the Nintendo announcement for upcoming titles at E3 event, that perceived overvalue can likely go away. Making the window for selling an Ambassador 3DS for more than $250 likely over by now.

There is still price gouging on amazon for ambassador 3ds for around 400 or so, you can try your luck there.

The scene has dumped 106 US roms, 104 EU roms, and 25 JP roms (also 2 KS and 4 CN). I'm sure they will get to the ones that they missed eventually.

2. gonna buy at launch still gonna buy retail games tho, only useing for 3dsdev.

now for questions.
1. ok it plays 3DSmode but does it also do DS or DSimode?
2. from what im hearing there will be a game loader. if so wouldnt that mean more than 1 game & also no region lock? (as one would assume for the cart to run on your region 3DS you would need a rom loader for your region? & the loaded roms will there region under that region?)

From what I gathered

- there's a good chance homebrew isn't going to be possible, or at least not for a while
- it only backs up 3DS games, I mean there's already stuff out there for DS games anyhow
- there isn't a game loader, that's just something people want to make it more practical
- region lock is another issue that can't be solved this way, though again people would LIKE it to be solved...

Anyone, feel free to correct me here, that was my general understanding though.

You can tell from the video that it's the European version of Luigi's Mansion anyways. The US version isn't called "Luigi's Mansion 2", it dropped the number 2 and replaces it with the subtitle "Dark Moon". And as the title screen reads "Luigi's Mansion 2", that would logically mean it's the European version

And it probably isn't Japanese as there's no Japanese text to be found anywhere in any of the roms tested nor the 3DS used, Resident Evil also isn't called by its Japanese name "Biohazard".
