Just checked again and it now says:

Do not worry. Next messages will be like: "The item (RCXXXXXXXXHK) is being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of ..." and "The item (RCXXXXXXXXHK) will leave Hong Kong for its destination on ...". Last message will inform that your package "was sent" to your country.
Wait even some days for next info. It will be posted there for sure.

This sure is getting exciting. Mine is getting closer and closer. Should have it today, or perhaps at the beginning of next week.

Anyway, got to ask, I am looking for MicroSD cards right now, does it matter which size? I was thinking of getting a 8GB as minimum, can I order a 16GB/32GB too? Or won't Gateway be able to handle that?

Also I am bit confused regarding Micro SD cards. Some say just Micro SD and others say SDHC. Is there any difference here?

Nothing fishy. They received 50 units a couple of days ago and they're expecting to receive the rest of the batch early next week I believe.

They told me they would send me my unit this week and I confirmed twice with them and I have yet to get my tracking number. I even asked before purchase. Most likely what they did was just to get my pre-order money, they just told me I was going to be part of the first batch and now instead am making me wait for the second one.

EDIT: I just double checked their site right now, and still nothing. I will update if they ship mine.

Like I said, I'm not saying they're not selling them but they're probably taking more orders than they can actually afford to ship. Maybe even just waiting for enough orders to come through so they can use that exact same money they received from the buyers before they order the second batch which could take a long time and is a really inefficient way of doing things. I would ask for a refund but as I figured they already have a policy preventing that and only gives out store credit.

As with some other people in this thread, I also ordered from Teensy.co.uk. I sent them an email asking about the Gateway and here's the response:

Hi, unfortunately we are still waiting for our Gateway 3DS stock to ship to us. We were sent an email from the distributor on Tuesday of this week stating " We will ship 250 pcs to you today", after we had not received tracking information for our order by yesterday, we sent a follow-up email asking for the tracking code for the order, the distributor then replied with " Order will be shipped tomorrow or next Monday", so unfortunately we're at the mercy of the distributor/Gateway 3DS team in regards to when we actually receive our stock.

Please accept our apologies for the delay, hopefully our transparency is some reassurance during the wait but rest assured we will be pressing them to have our stock sent out to us as soon as possible and will update our site/Facebook with the latest information/tracking information as soon as we receive it.

If so what your saying doesn't add up...

- They just received their first batch of 50 units yesterday at their warehouse so its impossible for you to have even received one today.
- They ship out of Canada

I ordered from there a month ago and haven't received anything yet ontop of the fact that I live in the same country that they ship from.

You must have ordered from some other site.
