As I said I'm in the same situation, I ordered from them because they are a GBAtemp trusted reseller. I hope you are right, that they are out of stock (even though on their site they are still claiming "In Stock, Shipped out within 24 hours"). But I can't really understand why, instead of telling you "we are very sorry etc etc" they just choose to DISAPPEAR, no replying back anymore (while they were very fast in asking for the payment), fooling you around with fake tracking numbers... I really don't understand

Yes that's exactly what I'm saying! It's not right to send fake tracking numbers and deceiving you in such a way because they don't have in stock. If they had told me that they don't have in stock I would be confident that I will receive my item when they will have in stock. But now not only they sent me twice fake tracking numbers with the last one telling that it was sent by registered mail although i paid for express delivery (DHL), they don't respond to my e-mails as well. I really want to trust you guys who say that it is a reliable website but I can't since they already deceived me...

I ordered too from nds-card, but via Hong Kong Air mail Registered. I got my tracking number since last monday or so, and it still doesn't work on the tracking site. So almost 6 days and still no tracking ? Hopefully it was really shipped !

Keep in mind, everyone, that on Shoptemp, the flag that is listed for each reseller is more than likely a false one. A lot of the retailers on the Shoptemp list are Chinese resellers. As far as you guys annoyed that NDS-card is withholding shipments or whatever, they're not. I've been in steady contact with them as well, and their initial stock has already flown off the shelves. These sites aren't exactly machines, they're operated by real life people. Flash carts take notoriously long to arrive, two to three weeks AFTER THE TRACKING LABEL HAS BEEN SENT OUT. So those of you complaining, stop, and wait it out for at least two weeks because spam mailing them does not help anyone at all at this point.

Hong Kong Air Mail registered is notoriously slow to get notifications and new updates. For me, usually, I didn't get any updates until my package arrived in the destination country. Please give that number some time.

You're right. I ordered from the HK Site. But so far I can't view the tracking number yet. The sales rep told me 6-8 days of shipping time to Singapore.

1 day has passed. i just assume it should reach in 5-7 days time. Meanwhile I just distract myself with something else.

Note: I placed my order 29th Aug (Sg Time) and 1 day later they shipped it.

It might take a few working days for it to transit from their branches to the port.

Furthermore, if yours is normal mail (basically delivered by Singpost, eg. Not DHL), it might take additional 1 - 2 working days after it reaches Singapore.
Additionally, if you're not at home to receive the package, they'll send it back to a post office for you to do manual collection,
which has annoyingly long queues and "operating hours" to follow.
(closes at 5pm on weekdays, which is a nightmare if you are working/schooling)

Hello Ryukouki. I have read many of your posts and I respect that you try to help people on the website. I have also read that you consider nds-card trustworthy. So, please if you can answer me, I don't say that they are machines or whatever, and I think that you haven't understood my problem at all. My problem is quite simple; 1) I ordered the product with DHL shipment, 2) I paid for it with paypal (with the +18$ for DHL), 3) they sent me an e-mail that my item was dispatched by DHL and they also sent me a tracking number (I believe that DHL tracking number works much faster than the Honk Kong one), 4) the next day they sent me an e-mail again stating that my product was sent by Hong Kong Air Mail registered with a tracking number and when I track my shipment online on their website I see that my order was dispatched by Hong Kong Air Mail registered and not DHL!! I also sent them 2 e-mails and they haven't replied to me. What is your opinion about all this? Thanks in advance...

That is very strange. I have been in contact with them over the past several days actually, so why your email is failing to go through, is beyond me, actually. :( And I do understand the issue at hand, I was merely generalizing to some of the other more impatient people. If it felt like I was directly calling you out, I apologize. That was not my intention at all. I can't directly help with that issue, as the issue is, most unfortunately, between reseller and customer. I can't exactly email them on your behalf, and ask as I don't know your personal information and whatnot, and quite personally, I don't want to be in control of that information for understandable reasons. :D I'm just a media reviewer. I go through a different channel with these products that I have interest in. :).

My only real suggestion at this point is to send an email to [email protected]. This is the email I am in touch with, and I tend to get replies within 24 hours, sometimes a little bit longer due to miscellaneous issues. I don't know if you just hit "contact us" and then filled out the information on that page. I don't know how responsive the fill out email is. I never do that, I have emails straight to the resellers. At this moment, I'm thinking it's a bit slower because of them probably rushing to ship orders and manage emails from impatient customers. By no means though am I calling you impatient. Seriously. Sometimes, in the logistics process, errors do happen, and I know NDS-card as reliable enough to want to resolve those issues as fast as possible.

As far as the trustworthiness of NDS-card and Realhotstuff, I consider both to be wonderful resellers. RHS has been around longer than I've been involved with this site, and NDS-card is a sponsor of GBAtemp for a reason. I would highly suggest emailing (And being persistent!) the above email that I linked you to, and wait about 36 hours for a reply. If none fails to arrive, email them again, and repeat that process. I wish you nothing but the best of luck in the resolution of your issue, though.

As far as the overall shipping process, with Hong Kong Registered Airmail, it gets to the destination, yes, but it's slow as balls both in transit and in updating the status. I've had shipments that said only "accepted at processing center" or something close to that, and then three weeks later no updates, and then the next day it arrives on my doorstep. That's a common thing with HK mail. Their site is horrendously slow. DHL is a quick service, I agree. I had my unit shipped via Express Worldwide and it came in two days. But the logistics process takes time, and errors (though unfortunate) DO happen.

Thank you a lot for your reply! Yes that's exactly what I will do, e-mail them and wait. I have already sent them 2 e-mails so I guess I'll wait. There is one more user that reported the same problem as I did. They used to answer my e-mails in less than 24 hours but now that this happened it's been more than 36 hours and I get no reply. I guess that if I don't get a reply (and a solution to my problem) until Monday at the most, I will sadly make a paypal complaint. Thank you a lot for your support and if anything else happens I'll let you know!

Not a problem, that is what I am here for. :) And yeah, I noticed that too. Since 8/25, they've been getting slow on their replies, and the common issue with 8/25 is the date that they received stock on the Gateway 3DS. It's not just you, I get it too. They used to talk to me within a couple hours, but with the recent inundation of product orders and emails, they're going to be bogged down a little bit. It's understandable, when you get a popular product on hand. I would definitely say 24 to 48 hours, but no longer than that. As long as you're thinking about what could be going on at the other end (lack of staff, order fulfillment, etc), that's what's important, because in the end they're just human beings trying to do a job, and in shipping and logistics, errors do occur. I say this to any and ALL people who are angry about the wait process. I would know too, I used to order a lot of stuff out of mainland China and Hong Kong. I was in your boat too. :P

I was also considering buying a dstwo for 33 from eachmall, but Im not sure if its reliable or not. I do believe though that eachmall is a trusted seller since it is listed as a reseller on shoptemp.
So you think it's not much of a risk? It's so cheap I really want to give it a try. Shipping is only $2 for standard 8-10 days.

But what of the future of gateway? Will there be a software fix to make it work on future firmwares? I don't know how viable spoofing is. The cart is probably just telling the game the system is on firmware X so that the game starts, but maybe certain games will truly require a feature of a later firmware and it's not just for security.

I don't want to buy this and then the team has to come out and apologize that they won't be able to do anything else with the first batch of Gateway 3DS's and have to resort to changing hardware. And then will it ever even get to the point where a UI will be implemented and we'll be able to load more than 1 game on a microSD at a time?

Hey buddy, first off, 8-10 days is a generous ball park estimate. Typical shipments out of China take around 2-3.5 weeks. Especially for US customers. The Gateway team said that since their product is now most likely with Nintendo, they're stuck at anything past 6.2. Firmware spoofing works on the 4.1-4.5 firmwares, which allows the user to play games that require higher firmwares. That's all spoofing is. I tested that out very carefully over the last two days, and it's a beauty. :) UI implementation is on their list of to-do stuff, but again, that takes time. They said they would spend some time on it now that the 1.0 release has happened.

I think the 8-10 days shipping means that's when it's shipped. Then it takes some more time to get to my door (weeks or whatever).

But do you think it will ever become more userfriendly so that you could put more than 1 game on the microSD? Should I just bite the bullet and buy it from eastmall?

For most retailers that I'm familiar with, it's anywhere from 2-5 days to process the order and ship it, and then two to four weeks to transit to the destination. With regards to the Gateway being user friendly, that answer is subjective. There's no set in stone date, or whether or not it could actually happen. I would like to hope so, but I'm not capable of traveling to the future. :(

Hi Ryukouki, thanks for your answer. What vasalpa described happened exactly to me: paid for DHL, received fake DHL number, then fake HK number, then absolutely no answer to my emails (and yes, I'm using the same email you mentioned). So, I'd define at least "strange" that the very same "error" happened to me and to vasalpa. I bought and paid for DHL from nds-card because they said they had in stock, shipping by 24 hours, they seemed to have a very good reputation...then you know the rest.
You are suggesting we should wait, is it to much asking to nds-card WHY do we have to wait? I'm sorry to say that till now nds-card isn't properly acting as a "trusted reseller" (no need to say I have all of the emails supporting what I'm saying).

I'm really sorry, I don't want to be mean to you, it's just that I feel like I was fooled around and I really don't like that.
Thanks again

Nds-card waited for more than one month for their stock to come in.

2 days after the stock came in, they gave me my DHL tracking number,
and I received my GW in 2 days, which was yesterday.

I noticed that they do take some time to reply their e-mails, but you must understand that they probably have a horde of e-mails to clear.

Can I confirm if you are receiving your GW through normal air mail, shipping or DHL Express?

Sometimes normal air mail/shipping tracking system is honestly quite fail.
For one of my products (either R4i Dongle or DStwo) the tracking number could not be used,
but I still received both of them in working condition.

Normal air mail/shipping might take longer than expected.

EDIT:Long story short, every purchase I made with NDS-card, I have received it,
including my latest addition of GW3DS.
If I received mine, you guys will probably receive yours.
Just send one e-mail, wait for a few days for their reply, and check your junk folder/e-mail filter Just in case.

If it's by shipping, it can take weeks, but it will arrive.

I don't have any sort of witty comeback or answer for you in this case. *dejected sigh* I don't know why this is happening either. I don't control the sales aspect of NDS-Card. I can't give an accurate answer on that lol. Definitely an anomaly here considering their excellent track record thus far. I completely understand your frustration, but at this point there's not much else I can tell you. I certainly cannot and will not tell you how to spend your money, but given past experiences from other members, the positive experiences are vastly outweighing the negatives, which can be unfortunate that several aberrations have popped up in the flow. My experiences thus far with HK Mail is that it always gets to the destination, albeit a bit more slowly than anticipated. If it does arrive, you can always ask for reimbursement on the shipping since you paid for DHL express services. As Queno138 has brought up, all orders from NDS-card will arrive, and I am positive that many members who have had wonderful experiences can say the same. If you want to tackle your chances at another reseller that's up to you, I can certainly point you in the right direction, but it's all subjective based on what the user wants and when the user needs it. There is no real "objective" go to location, as people always have different wants and needs for a specific moment.

For all of you guys who ordered from modchipsdirect, here's some good news: I got my package. It was scheduled to be be here on Tuesday, but I guess I lucked out. It shipped from New York to California, so that's pretty fast (if you discount the multiple delays). And just to add a bit of info:
1) The Gateway was not packaged. It had the Gateway box inside, but it was flat, and the two cards were just rooting around in the bottom of the package. So I assume they either did that on purpose to save time, or it is just such a low quality box that it got squashed while in transit.
2) Both my cards have their stickers. I really couldn't care less about this, but some people do, so I thought I'd let you know.
3) I paid for signature required, and a signature was indeed required.

I'm about to try the Gateway cards out now. I really hope they don't encounter the same problems other people have experienced. And I'll be sure to post in the Reliability thread should any problems arise.

Once again so far my buying experience with nds-card was 100% like yours: sadly not a good story. And I guess my next step will be making a Paypal complaint as well.
