Well, that table is annoying alright, what with the name of "License" hell, just take out everyone's license and you're free from rebellions or resistances

Harvest Moon, all variant including Rune Factory has no end. You simply live an eternal life, plowing the farm, milking the cow, and such everyday until you don't play it anymore, or at least until no generation play them anymore

Kingdom of Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA) - I expected some cool rpg, but all i got was some repetitive, mindless, boring dungeon crawler

N+ DS
Sure, it was a good game, but after putting countless hours into the xbox version, and countless late nights testing my new Co-op levels with friends over XBL, there was pretty much no way that a portable could compete.
I'll go ahead and list my gripes:
-Deaths are less epic
-Level editor sucks
-NO ROTATING LAZOR
-Bounce blocks are gimped extremely. First of all, if you fall from a semi-high spot, they will kill you just like the ground if you land one them, and second, it's near impossible to do a decent jump off of them.
-Levels don't have cool titles like before
-NO WHITE NINJA?!?! WHAT THE HELL? THAT'S MY TRADEMARK
-No singlecart multiplayer
-No online multiplayer (yeah, level sharing doesn't count)
-Graphics are ugly as hell. I usually wouldn't care, but seriously. The DS could do so much better. For such a simple game, all the effects should of been perfected.
-etc etc
Only someone on crack would say N+ looks bad, especially considering it looks almost exactly like the 360 XBLA version which I have played. I am sorry but the only difference is the screen size. The jumping system is weak and slow though, dodging missles is a royal pain in the ass and damn near impossible on some levels.

Strange, I completed my first mission within 10 minutes in FFTA GBA....
It takes like an hour to have finished the first mission alone, it was insanely slow and I hated not being able to skip the intro in the original FFTA. At least with FFTA2 the intro was a couple of mins long instead of being long drawn out emoish garbage that takes about 30 mins to get through cause characters can't walk fast enough.

Command and Destroy.

I wanted a genuine RTS game (odd coming from me as I don't tend to like RTS).

But the game is crap. It's crap because it looks like they quit half way through making it. What? did they run out of money and decide "screw it, they can just settle for this much".
Made by Cypron Studios who also made Gods: Lands of Infinity which was a half-assed PC RPG, which they sort of fixed by adding a porn star and adding a few things, but it's still half a game.

The also phail for not putting in a save system, fortunately both of my flash carts support RTS.

Orcs & Elves: Even though I knew it was a cellphone game, I really expected Id to expand on it much more than they did. (Lousy new map.)

Chocobo Tales: Finished it, but it's really a collection of mini-games geared for the 6+(it really does require some literacy to be able to get the most out of it) crowd. It could've redeemed itself by having a better card battle game, but the AI as released was horrible.

TWEWY: Was expecting something MUCH better than what I got, but it kind of grew on me after a while, but I'd still only give it a 6 - 7 and wouldn't call it an RPG, more like a so-so action-adventure...

It frustrated me to no end. The stupid frogs just kept jumping at me and here I'm trying countless times to slash them and it just not working no matter what I try. Suffice it to say, I was getting preatty sick of it. I'll probably try it again sometime though, it does look cool.

I never played the online version of n+, but I don't think it's bad for something quick to play for like 20 mins.

edit - but then again, I was never expecting anything awesome out of n+, I got it because of all the buzz. So, I couldn't really be that let down:)

if that's the first fight you have to run... thay even say it at the beggining of the fight
unless that's not the part sorry to underrate you that much

on-topic:
Viva pinata, I don't have the patience to do this.
Spore creatures, come on a STORY LINE?! and after completeting it, no free roaming mode or something like that.

I loved 'em, but N+ and the trauma centres always ended up with my DS against the wall.

Viva Pinata annoyed the crap out of me too. Spore Creatures was a little more tolerable but still horiible.

actually no, it's later in the game (but, admittedly still early) after you get the different pins. like, the third fight on day 2.

Final Fantasy 4 - basically FF3 with different characters and a new story, nothing changed. Might as well spend 20 bucks less and get the GBA cart which is far less tedious and doesn't seem as lame for some reason. If I wanted to play FF4, I would have just got the GBA version cause I hate the 3D graphics of the DS game.

You know what else? Games with incredibly gaudy ostentatious FMVs and opening sequences. FFIII, FFIV, the like. My reactions when watching them for the first time is like "HOLY SHIT MAN THIS IS AWESOME, etc, etc" then when I'm playing it I realize that it's all too generic once again. All too linear.

Perhaps even sometimes nothing from the FMV ever happened in the game.
