Gaming Games you thought would be great that just annoyed you

any kinda game that involves using your stylus to move your character around the map/screen/game play and no choice to toggle the thumb pad it just sucks !

kind defeats the object of having a thumb pad with games like that your left hand is practically useless in the game play itself

prime example of messed up controls ZELDA PH (think there was a cheat to use thumb pad) but gave up and left it for dead before they did that!

well i have a few as well:
n+ (frustrating as fuck, i did alot better in the pc version)
dementium (pretty fun, but as stated above, when u die u gotta redo whole level, and it starts to get pretty complicated later on)
life signs:surgical unit (pretty fun at first, but i'm stuck on this one surgery that's fuckin impossible to do

Zelda controls are great.. people need to be more open minded about this kind of stuff, I bet most people complaining about this played the game for less than 10 minutes..

N+, Don't see why people like it so much, but Im sure its a game better left on the consoles, didn't like the handheld versions (DS or PSP)

Just was boring after a while.

Also on that list- Mario Hoops 3-3. Was too easy, up until the last match of the game, which jumped up 10 difficulty levels, but needless to say it wasn't that good in the first place.

To all the N+haters, I've never played it on PC or console so the DS game had me enthralled. I've only got a few episodes left. It's DEF not the game to play through. I play en episode, take a break for a day or two, and attempt another one. It's that kind of game.

And Zelda PH was great! While I usually favor button controls over sole touchscreen, the developers did a great job on it. I was very pleased.

Plus, I got no hand cramps like I ususlaly do when playing with the buttons.

Yeah. N+ is a great game to play on a quick subway ride or some other point when you need some fast brief action -- trying to play multiple levels in rapid succession is a very bad idea, and you'll burn out on it real fast.

I didn't like Zelda PH because of how boring it was. The first 4 hours of the game is brilliant, but then you do reapeats of THE SAME dungeon. for like half of the game. it blew my mind.

Spore was just awful, FtA was repetitive and HM was just... wtf.

It was boring like hell and i just couldnt get myself to play it

Mario Basketball: first too easy and then too hard... Nintendo should take those always hit functions out even if you have to do the ultra cool special M in order to make it...

Zelda: The feeling of old Zeldas was just gone. It was too boring :/

Spore: both the PC and the DS versions sucked... especially the DS version!

The new Tony Hawk: Yawn!

Thats the reason I dont want to play the LOZH and it annoys me the time i wasted to get through that tower. It took me 5 hours and i can't get pass it and when i did i lost interest

Spore Creatures: W.T.FFFFFFF. I actually expected it to be semi-decent. You just draw a fugly 2D creature from hell and go around and do kiddie type quests and such :\ I hope the actual Spore game for the PC isn't like that. I played Spore Creature Creator for the PC and that was infinitesimally better than Spore for the DS.

Contra 4. Honestly, I tried to like it, but it just seems like crap to me. That and it's extremely uber hard. I like Metal Slug a lot more.

Viva Pinata. Variants, ANNOYING AS HELL romance requirements, AND habitat requirements. Shit can't be done without enough funding and money is slow in any case.

Geometry Wars. Get within an iota of getting gold or something similar, then die. Once you get back you can't even move an inch to get multipliers sometimes. Obstacles get ridiculous too.

Zelda, that phantom temple, self-explanatory.

HM: IoH. Also self-explanatory, stylus controls and no permanent stamina boosters = shitsux.

Viva Pinata DS. Takes about 2-3 minutes to walk from point A to point B where a game like SPORE would take 5-10 seconds.

Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, touch screen controls really annoyed me. Seemed like a cool game but even with the button hack, the game still annoyed me. Especially constantly going back to the temple.
