About all I can think of are Mario Kart DS and Wii, the Pokemon games (although the online system used is sort of terrible), SSBB, and Tetris DS.

Mario Kart DS (and rightly so, just about the only online DS game I really played a lot)
Fifa probably too, I enjoyed that quite a bit myself
Maybe Worms 2 too, I remember playing the GBAtemp tournament with that game smile.gif
Tetris DS ?

it doesn't even work for me most of the time, i have to use dunno how many stupid modifications to make it run
and unfortunately brawl plus doesn't have online support much

i see lots of cheaters hackers on mario kart wii, since then i mostly play only ghost races or single[with maybe friends]
tetris ds is a nice one

cod again got lots of cheaters, but hell....is there any game w/p cheaters?
i stopped caring a long time ago and just play, if it's a hacker, good luck for him, at least i'm having fun

What's SSBB?

Anyway, I think Metroid Prime Hunters should still have a strong community, because if it was bursting with people last February (2010), it should do so now given it was released in 2006. However they're all very competitive, so I recommend first playing the game a bit, or you'll be dying all the time.

Super Smash Brother Brawl.

A good way to know which games have a strong online community is by browsing GameFAQs:

From this we can deduce all Pokémon games, Metroid Prime: Hunters and the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! game all have a strong online community.

Super Smash Brother Brawl.
Oh! That's what I thought at first, but then I changed my mind thinking it has to be something else, since it's about DS online communities.

You'll always find a match in Metroid Prime:Hunters. You will always find out that most of the players are cheaters too.

There are various Brawl opponent finder services that use FCs on the internet for this reason (and for not having to play pointless 2 minute matches with items on when you actually find a match).

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her into the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."
