Dragon quest dark prince cheat

Hello all, I finished the game and I'd like to know if there is cheat code to change party monsters ? A bit like a save editor. Basically, I'd like to restart game but starting with monsters I want. Because the strong monsters are unlocked mostly at the very end...
Sorry if it has been discussed already, I checked but didn't find anything online.
