Homebrew Gameboy - Lameboy Hacking?

Is there a program that can inject gameshark into a ROM so you can play the hacked version on lameboy?
I know of a program named: Classic Cheat Code Game Patcher(),
but it will not work for me.
I put in the gameshark codes and patch it and when i run it, the codes are not working.

So, how can i make a hacked ROM for Gameboy ROMs?
Is there a program for?
and if CCCGP works, what am i doing wrong?
I'm trying to hack Pokemon Trading Card Game with the code Control Opponent (1-Player Game) 01000DCC.

I don't remember how it was with GBC games but try checking if there is something like "Master Code" that must be enabled to other codes work

I think that you don't need a master code for the game boy.
i can't find it on the internet.

Test the code on an emulator on the PC with the same ROM image to make sure it's for the smae region and all that jazz.

CCCGP would have been my only recommendation, as it works for most games. I *think* there's another program that does something similar, but my memory is really fuzzy on that. Can't remember the name, if it exists.
