hi guys, my girlfriend's parents recently got a wii and we are trying to get a game for them for x'mas. do you guys have any recommendations? they are not really gamers at all so the essential list kind of doesn't fit. do you guys have any recommendations? they already have wii fit and my current choice is big brain academy wii degree, but i am trying to see if there are anything else that might be better.

Best bet is to get games that are easy to play then.

Wii Sports
Wii Play
Cooking Mama

Most mario/wario games are rather easy and nice too.

Mario Kart
Mario Party 8
Mario Supper Sluggers
Warioware Smooth Moves
Wario Land: Shake it!

hey thanks for the quick reply.

i assumed wii sports came with their wii when they got it. i also considered wii play but since they retired to FL (meaning not a lot of family around for "party" type games), i am not too sure how often they will actually load up a game like wii play just to play between the mom and dad. =\

cooking mama will probably only be played by the mom?

Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 or Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party, IMO number 2 wasnt good.
If you get Rayman go for the first one, its the best.

Im assuming they have Wii Sports if bought new (will play that the most)
Mario Kart (Fun racing game easy to pick up and play)
Boom Blox - Definitely!
Wii Fit? Maybe?

They're arent many good games for Wii that are worth the cash ( Dont flame me yet) Especially not for an adult, I dont see the parents playing Smash Bros (unless they're really big into gaming and enjoy fighters) or Metroid or Zelda together. Plus the best Wii games, Happen to be Single Player adventures,
So I'd go with the Top 4

For the Dad though go with (Single player)

Zelda TP
Metroid 3
Super Smash Bros.
Super Mario Galaxy
