My Wii is hard modded with "Openwii" chip. The system is just updated to 4.0U with cIOS36_rev9 installed and IOS60 patched and preload 0.29 yesterday. When I inserted Marble Saga backup disc, I could see it in disc channel. But after I clicked START then it came black screen/freeze. However, when I ran Backup Launcher 0.3 gamma, the game ran smoothly.
I was told I need some IOS like 38, 53, 55 installed to play new games. But I am sure I have the latest complete IOS for 4.0U system. Since 0.3 gamma can run it, why couldn't a modchip run? The other old games can run very well with the modchip in disc channel.
