Hacking G6 Lite (4Gbit) support

I currently use my girlfriend's R4 to play GTA:CW, and a Acekard is on its way... Sorry, G6Lite, but... next!

I used my G6DS without patching, updating or anything. My girlfriend has my old G6 lite so I new it needed the AR code and ARM7 patch but it worked first time, online too.

Don't know what all the fuss is about really, cuz it isn't a tricky fix.

I have a G6 Lite, finally ordered a new card (Acekard 2). Every game works, except for the games that need patches and whatnot, but after you patch it, it works fine. Just make sure you trim the roms and copy it in safe mode, that seems more reliable. Pheonix Wright games would freeze every 10-15 minutes, but you can save at any time, so it never really mattered much.

Really only upgrading because it's so damn small! XD

A shame the M3 team dropped support. I have a G6 lite and a G6DS real and both work great fo the most part. It was a great combo back, and superior to eh cycloDS + EZ Flash 3 in 1 combo IMHO.


However, with no new support for the G6 Lite and wanning support for the G6DS real (still don't have RTS even though M3DS does) you can consider both relics.

Heck..I don;t even think you can buy them anymore, can you?

I also have a G6lite. Its been pretty reliable for the past 2 years, but i am having trouble playing both Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Story and Pokemone Heart Gold/Silver Soul roms. I've tried various patches, but nothing seems to work. >_

I have a G6 Lite as well and can't play Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Story. I tried contacing G6 Team but did not get a response. Unfortunately, it probably means it is not supported anymore, and I will need a new one. I'm hesitant to get a M3 Real, since they might stop supporting this as well in the future if they release another product.
