I think the bundle you meant to link to is this one. It includes the following for $132.00:

Check the edited post. Also BTW G6 Lite is better then Supercard Lite. SCL is for hardcores and bang for buck value only really..

. Even though performance wise i think SCL is better but thats just me. I use my SCL more then my G6. Also, check the edited post.

"KINGOFNOOBS," I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I thought I'd mention a few things about your edited post.

There is no doubt that the price difference between a 512Mb SC Lite setup and G6 Lite setup is small. Sure, assuming that you can get a card reader for $4.99, you can get a 512Mb SC Lite setup for $100.98 (RHS + Newegg) as opposed to the G6 RHS bundle for $112.00. I am not sure how you arrived at $97, as the memory is $23.99 without shipping on Newegg. If you use my earlier values (taken from Winsunx) and replace my value of $11.00 for the card reader with your value of $4.99, you will see that the price is virtually identical ($110.685 - SC vs. $110.215 - G6). I think this is just a result of the markup, shipping costs etc. on both items being slightly different on Winsunx and RHS. However, as I stated earlier, the 512Mb memory is slower than non-Ultra memory and is not as fast as the internal memory of the G6. Thus, given the neglible price difference of the two cards (when going the 512Mb route), I think the G6 Lite would provide a better experience and is a better deal overall.

You still have the "And you get twice the memory.. (for cheaper/same price as G6 Lite)" line in your last post. As your own values indicate, that is not the case. I assume you just forgot to edit that line out. For the 1 Gig solution you used the slower and cheaper, non-Ultra memory. To estimate costs for a 1Gig setup, I have been using this memory which is more expensive and recommended by most. (It gives the closest performance to the internal memory of the G6 Lite.) Even still, you came up with a value that is more costly.

Well the SCL has better and faster ram so it can run things like the castlevania video without lag and such. But i would still recommend Ultra, for future games.. but eh. Price isnt the issue. Since you are pirating game... you pay some to get some

uh the SCL having faster ram has nothing to do with the castlevania video not lagging, it streams straight from the microsd..

the ram improves on gba playback (eliminating majority of slowdowns)

Lol, I love how he factors in a card reader into the price as seeing most people already have one. I'll never win with you any we'll just go back and forth all day but the fact of the matter is that for most people 512MB isn't enough, and the SuperCard Lite does DS and homebrew just as good if not better and offers you higher capacity memory storage.

The G6 Lite would be awesome if it were 1GB but its not so lets move on as you can't compare the two as they are both great in their own ways. I prefer more space, you prefer better GBA... its all about preference and at the end of the day we have both put our money where our mouths are anyway.

Well regarding the inclusion of a card reader.. This is about a new flashcart buyer and not about a person who has like multiple versions of Supercard and M3/G6 plus any other GBA flashcart..

When I started with flashcarts I already had a flashcart reader and most people do on their printers, laptops, or home pc's. Almost all computers bought new have them now, laptops have been including them for years and many users can even access their card reader from their printer! So I really don't think that is an issue since what else are you going to add next, the price of a DS Lite?

rkenshin, no offense but you are going to great lengths to prove that the SCL is more expensive than the G6L. I would still rather pay an extra $10 bucks to get more memory in the long run and have the ability to expand my memory even more in the future.

The only comments I made regarding this pricing debate was making fun of RHS's bundle pricing which isn't even a deal to begin with and the possibility of them sending you a fake Sandisk..

Better = opinion.. But be like me and own a M3, Supercard and G6 product, they're all good in their own way..

And zap is so right, we'll probably be getting those upcoming DS flashcards in the future once all the kinks have been worked out..

Edit: Just to clarify.. All three flashcarts I bought a year apart..

First was back in the GBA days when the Supercard SD was released..

Second was the beginning of DS piracy with the M3..

And Third, the G6L since I never had a true GBA flashcart before with great DS support, plus the space is good enough so I can limit myself to a certain amount of games and actually finish them which then goes over to the Supercard SD for storage (whenever I feel like playing it again) and the M3 is mainly for DS homebrew (Moonshell, DSOrganize, emulator and games)

I have a Supercard Lite and G6 Lite, and SCL is much better for DS games. GBa games G6 is obviously better. Supercard Lite is also better for homebrew.
