Hacking full restore?

ok - Im not gonna bore you with the details, but I am finally gonna softmod my 4.2 virgin wii. - but before I do so, - is there then a way to delete all homebrew/hacks, thus restoring my wii to its current state, should I ever need to?

Yes there is.

You would restore every IOS back to its most updated state without any trucha bugs or anything and the system menu, then delete every cIOS and your pretty much good.
