Thats my thinkings:
Thats an NSP downloader with only need a internet connection.
If u want to do that too u must search for a NSP Game and install it with Tinfoil, SX Installer, TX Menu Installer Tab or maybe if u have it the DevMenu.
NSP can be found on some sites only 1 Google search and u find 3 Links for every Game, i dont know if these work but Reddit pages.
I wish I can give u a link but i dont know if this is fine for this Forum or for anything other, but just search. ^^
If u have SX OS u can create an EmuNAND without Internet and install it there then u dont get a ban and yes i know u dont care about that.

If you even try to then like everybody's saying...Nintendo really cracked down on security so you wont even be able to use your Switch once your banned. That means not opening anything, not downloading anything, not going online and etc.

Geez some of you are pretty smug for not even knowing that stuff cost different prices around the world, op was asking information about software that does exist for the system. They should be ridiculed and banned? A simple "We done condone piracy here" would suffice don't you think? For someone new to the scene, it is extremely off putting when instead you could offer some helpful information, or insight regarding the topic, or how the user can prevent themselves from being banned here, let alone on there system.

Just saying!

OBVIOUSLY things cost different prices. Especially when currency is different.

However, I thought you meant "In an area where games cost 60 dollars, the PS3 was 1000 dollars on launch." THAT I did not see coming. LOL

Oh I know, I didn't mean everyone, there is a lot of helpful information regarding op's question from users as well, It's just when some users insist on doing it half the pages become a debate on piracy, and lose there focus on adding anything helpful to the actual topic.

You are telling me that you don't need edge auth for it to work? How does it work then?
FreeShopNX is not a port of CNDNSP. It does not reimplement or try to reverse engineer the process to access and download from Nintendo's CDN. It invokes the Switch's built in functions to download titles via direct IPC commands of the OS functions. As long as the Switch is up to date, the Switch handles all the token generation, contact, and downloading. This is why FreeShopNX did not need to be updated when the new security features were added. To Nintendo it looks like you're just re-downloading an archived game. Essentially FreeShopNX never stopped working, people just assumed it did.

Got it.

This thread should be interpreted as "How can I pirate?" and it should be locked or deleted, and the OP banned.
Whoa, whoa, whoa there, calm your tits.
All OP asked is how to use a homebrew. It's not like discussion on the original freeShop was banned because it enabled piracy.
Even if she was asking for links to download pirated software, that wouldn't warrant a ban right away. A suspension would be the worst-case scenario but 1 or 2 warnings are more likely.

Perhaps you skimmed over this part? “ or any form of downloading free games directly through the system”

And this part of the rules?

“Those are the most frequently broken rules, and are the most important. Failure to comply with these rules may result in an instant ban on your forum account. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse!”

Don’t even try to skate around semantics. It is well understood what is being asked.

Not everyone can be expected to make the stretch that free games = pirated software. Free games could easily also mean, well, games that are free.

Just because freeshop allows piracy does not mean the software itself is piracy. So you can talk however you want about it, as long as you are not saying where to get any of the copyrighted stuff as that is spreading/sharing the piracy.
That's like saying CFW or homebrew is piracy and you should be banned for speaking about it because it allows piracy. That's not how it works and you know it.

This is not true, you can still play any game you have installed .
