Hacking Forwarders are back!

just wondering, will these new forwarders work on the regular Wii ? I have the newer remotes and I have the latest snes, nes and vba gx but my Wii64, Sega and Atari will not work. I know they ones listed here are for the vWii but I was hoping I could use. Looking for wads but forwarders will have to do if that is all I can get.

How to use?

Just install the Wad like you would normally, and make sure that the associated app you have on the SD card or USB drive is in a path that is listed under the link.

For instance, if you wanted to use a forwarder for USB Loader GX, install the wad for it, and make sure that USB Loader GX is in "SD :/apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol."

Not sure if there is any action in this thread any more, but I would love to see a forwarder (or actual Channel) for Tinyload. It no longer receives updates so a Channel should be OK. I'd also like to see a forwarder (or channel) for GeckoOS. Thanks all!

GeckoOS would be better since you can autoboot a disc.

[@skeet1983] - I had time to try to fulfil your request (forwarder was not available for Wii and I usually do this only with original Wii channels for time-related problems).

Yes, boot.dol should work both on Wii and vWii, only forwarders need to be rebuilt.

I use wad manager 1.7, and it has been good to me. I've also used MMM, but have had occasional issues, so prefer to use wm.
