So it is fun? I am deciding to get it or not.

Again, this is only my opinion, but having a Monopoly game night with the family is much more entertaining than Fortune Street. Just find a few Nintendo character figurines to replace the original game pieces if you want to.

Fortune Street is a bit complicated, so you might as well get monopoly because it's simpler.
Though there is the easy rules mode, which is similar.

After playing a few times. I like fortune street a lot better than monopoly. Monopoly is almost purely chance and once you start out badly there is no turning it around. FS allows for more strategy. I was able to win a game with only four properties and trading stocks.

With that said. The game got a lot wrong. I dont see why it cant just be 2 and 3 players without cpus. Playing the cpu is very grating and it tends to be pretty lucky all the time. I usually have 2 other people to play with and it would be awesome if the cpu wasnt involved. Every time it become a chore to try and beat out the cpu by ganging up on it instead of playing each other

Then there is all the non skipable crap nintendo style. Do i really need an animation of every shop going down in value? No i dont just change the prices in one swoop and let us move on

Anyway. This could of been an excellent game if it wasnt for a lot of poor decisions that seem to be more nintendo influenced than capcom
