I dont see why anyone was worried over this, the world being covered by about 70% of oceans and 30% by land, there was a big chance that it would fall in the ocean. And on top of that, only a very, very small section of the land is being used by metropolitan areas.
So if you thought this was actually going to fall and cause damage in a city you're probably the kind of person that plays the lottery and is extremely disappointed that they dont win.
