Honestly, that would be just great! But I doubt it. Discuss.
EDIT: Just to clear it up. That's a 3DS specific site.

3D youtube vids would be stellar. Will that happen ? We're talking about Nintendo here. So the answer is, of course, fuck no. Why on God's green earth would Nintendo be interested in providing an outlet for free 3d content ? It would only enhance the greatness of the 3DS a million fold. So count on Nintendo absolutely not doing it. I wager this is nothing but a fuckup, there will be no flash, and of course there will be no 3d youtube vids.

Yes I know you can put 3d vids on 3DS, but there is an unwatchable 20 fps limit. I still thank the people who figured out how to get them to run on the 3DS.

Also to preempt anyone saying "DURR why would they be any faster streaming from YOUTUBE ?" The 20 fps limit is imposed by the Nintendo Camera software.

That's just what happens when you view the site without flash player installed.
The NSMB2 microsite isn't designed for the 3DS in any way, just for desktop/laptop web browsing.

The "full site coming soon" and the flash banner are two different things.
All this means is the NSMB2 site isnt finished yet, and underneath that, you need a device that can handle flash.

I wouldnt be surprised if the 3DS never supports flash. Actually. I would put money on the 3DS never being able to utilize web flash.
And i have my reasons. Technically speaking, mobile flash is dead. Adobe pulled out of that last year. They released the last official mobile flash update and cut their losses.
Flash is old, bloated, and takes way too much memory to run. any time i go on a website that relies on flash with my laptop, it makes my fans kick up lol

The 3DS would be further ahead to make the necessary steps to implement support for HTML5/6. Which is lightweight and easy on the ARM (processor) lol

Anything that can at least view YouTube or something of that like would be nice on the 3DS. Their Wii is capable of it, so why isn't the 3DS? It's just as powerful (if not more) than a Wii.

Oh wait, their browser runs over top of everything else so not all the RAM is dedicated to the browser. Unless they release a stand-alone browser, flash or anything similar is just a pipe dream.

2 things.
1.Remember that the 3DS might seem "more powerful" but an ARM processor (a mobile one) is not the same as a full blown one that would be used in a wii. Its actually hard to line them up side by side.
2. A youtube app is completely within the scope of the 3DSs power, and with HTML5, that dream is certainly feasible. I thought the 3DS could use youtube already, interesting that it cant.

Would be cool if flash was in a future update. Also still waiting on the Hulu app for the 3DS as well.

Why would ANYONE want that abominable on the 3DS?

Question, how is the support for HTML5 stuff on the 3DS? Does it play the video and or audio tags?\

Last time I used the 3DS browser it was too basic to function normally as a webbrowser for me.

No, it doesn't.

The reason the 3DS browser is so limited is because it only uses 32MB of RAM so that you can multitask with it while playing a game. If Nintendo allowed access to the full 128MB, I'm sure it would be better.

They should have a 2nd version of the internet browser that handles the heavier content like Youtube, but is launched like any other stand-alone game/app like the Music and Camera apps (allowing the 96MB and processing power everything else uses). But, when using the current lightweight version, it will request to switch to the heavyweight if and when the content requires it.

I had this exact idea in mind. I wonder why no one at Nintendo has thought of it. Or perhaps they have and didn't like the idea.

what is the url
http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/games/nintendo_3ds/new_super_mario_bros_2_50182.html
I tried opening the page with my iPhone and it opens fully with no problems at all.

On topic: Flash will never come to 3DS/XL. Adobe has already dropped support for mobiles and Nintendo will very likely not be paying for royalties. In fact, Flash is kinda dying.
