Not all videos on YouTube work with HTML,quote.Even so flash is still being used,it's going but I think it'll always be on browser intill at least 40% of the internet decides to move on.I'm curious if that will effect AS.

Do you really like flash that much? It's a bloated, RAM-wasting, energy-hungry, inefficient piece of ancient shit. The only reason that Youtube doesn't have all videos in non-flash format is because videos with ads are not supported, however, they've already stated that they're working on that. In less than 5 years, Flash will be gone from the majority of websites.

If Flash is still supported 5 years from now, the internet has a serious problem.

The internet will always have a serious problem. And I do believe people will still use flash for a while, people still use macromedia flash.I think newgrounds is going to continue using flash, but it's good that RAM-wasting, energy-hungry, inefficient piece of ancient shit times are gone.

Adobe Flash is backwards compatible with Macromedia Flash, for consumer purposes. Sure, you could argue that Macromedia Flash has not as many features as Flash 11, but they're backwards compatible, i.e. a Flash 11 installation will run legacy Macromedia Flash applications. Not sure why you brought that up though.

Also, as said before, Adobe has a Flash to HTML5 converter, basically encouraging people to use HTML5. You can still code in AS3, if you wish, but your end product should be HTML5, if possible.

Sometimes I wonder why Nintendo is so fucking stubborn.
No achievements, limit usage demos, no flash, no snes vc title...
Sometimes they look like a bunch of kids who want to do the opposite of what the public wants just to oppose.

I realy hope they'll never support flash.... I hope they support the full HTML 5 spec, with h.264, webM etc. it should work better atm than flash....
(ever tried flash on a slower pc? it has become a pain in the ass)

If the Wii U won't support flash I can guarantee the 3DS won't either. However they might make it html 5 capable like most are doing now as well as the Wii U.

...why is this thread still open if we already know that Mobile Flash is discontinued and nobody is getting it? For god's sake, Google didn't get it for Android, don't expect Nintendo to suddenly get a package. The framework is dead, deal with it. Nintendo won't make an international god-knows-for-how-much deal to get Flash on their devices just to display their site right, they'll simply rework their site to work with HTML5.
