Super Mario Bros Wonder unconfirmed PC "port" hits 60fps

YouTuber Belamante has supposedly shown Super Mario Bros. Wonder running natively on PC without emulation. According to Belamante, the port runs at roughly 60fps on a laptop with an RTX 3050, and uses static ahead-of-time recompilation rather than an emulator.

The port is built from recompiled C++ code, paired with an "NVN-to-Vulkan translation layer" that integrates directly through the Nvidia driver alongside some "additional optimisations". Although it's running at close to 60fps in its current state, the developer admits It isn't perfect yet and graphical glitches and the occasional frame-rate stutter still occur.

Nothing has been released so far so this is all unconfirmed. Belamante has said they intend to put out the project used for the port at some point, but has promised no release date.

The YouTuber has since released another video claiming to show Super Mario Odyssey running via the same setup.

What do you make of it? Do you think the project will release or will the Nintendo ninjas get there first?

Holy hell this is moving fast, now we're really getting to the fun stuff. I don't think there's anything Nintendo can do about this either, these always require bringing your own game files so there isn't gonna be any Nintendo code present.

I don't get it, how can wonder and odyssey get native pc ports?
Did their sources codes got leaked and I missed it ?

I think I missed some informations

With the power of AI, reverse-engineering tools, recompilers, automation, and concentrated autism.

What's the point exactly? The game runs at 60fps already and on Switch 2 is a native 4k with exclusive content.

Dude there is this one guy on twitter who has been pumping out daily at this point. No enhancements or anything just the game running on PC. Of course they are just 99% AI without and QC or testing.

They'll most likely use a Static Recompilation. Basically It's still Yuzu/Ryujinx or whatever they use under the hood except for the CPU instructions which are natively translated. It's useful in future, but right now It's just half native half emulator.

Is it still useful though? I'm mostly familiar with decomps, and I know decomps are preferable for more reasons than one
