    Hello,
    I messed up my wii by trying to install a theme and whenever it boots it just shows a bunch of colored lines going down the screen. After looking online I managed to find this guide: http://www.hacksden.com/showthread....Guide-for-Low-Level-Brick-(Full-Brick)-Repair , and was wondering if this was the only way to fix my Wii? I don't wanna do something overly complicated then need be so is this what I should be doing? Also if so does anyone know where I can find Xavbox Software v1.0.0.7? Dunno if its "unallowed software", but I can't seem to find it anywhere online.

    EDIT: Forgot to mention I don't have priiloader or anything unfortunately. When I installed hbc, It said bootmii couldn't be installed.

    That's hardware related. If you weren't able to install BootMii as boot2 and you didn't install Priiloader you're probably screwed. Otherwise you'll have to desolder the NAND from the console's board and re-flash it with a good one. You'll need your console's encryption keys to do that.

    I do have the nand and keys. Seeing as the process includes multiple things I do not have, do you know of anyone reputable I could ship the wii to in order to flash the nand?

    The theme messed up of you installed the wrong system menu version. The only way to fix it is if you can get into HBC, otherwise you might have to use a hardware flasher.

    @TheMagicMan If you didn't have BootMii boot2 or BootMii IOS + Priiloader installed then you will need to reflash a good NAND dump, and that requires encrypted keys to do.

    @TheMagicMan BootMii can easily make and import NAND backups if you mean software. Hardware related, you may need to do a bit of soldering and physical flashing.

    Yeah I was just wondering if using a modchip, I could just flash the nand backup I have right now(A backup made before I bricked it).

    @DeadlyFoez does that.

    @FancyNintendoGamer567 He does not have BootMii or Priiloader installed.

    Hello. My name is Joey. I have modded quite a few wii's over the past few years and I ran into a problem with my friends wii, it fully bricked. Was trying to downgrade system menu and it froze forcing me to hold power button down. I forgot to make a back up of any sort and now stuck with this bricked wii. Any ideas or thoughts ? Any way I can get some help or tips

    Read what you quoted. Your Wii is fully bricked as you said and will require external hardware to fix.

    After getting Everything I think I can fix it, I just need some more help. I accidentally broke the ribbon cord for my infectus2 cause I'm a stupid idiot. The site I got it from has the cable(but super overpriced). Its listed as a FFC flat cable 15pin, 40 cm and the back says "WENXIN e230343 awm 20798 80c 60v vw-1 h". I haven't been able to match anything with 100% guarantee. Does this match the one I am looking for? This is a picture of mine.
