Something's not right with the pictures from the website;
why are they dated 5/12/2007!?!?
The DSi did not exsist until 12/DD/2008 in Japan Q1/DD/2009 in the USA!
We also don't see him launching the "homebrew" from the DSi menu or see him booting the DSi and then Launching the "Homebrew"
I smell a FAKE here...
 
I think its true, Nintendo DID release an update for DSi 1.4E systems(NOT in the DSi Shop, only in Sys. Menu), but after that small(Yes, small, it was only about 5 seconds.) update, it was just still 1.4E, My flashcard isn't blocked so... I think its real. (Nintendo doesn't update for nothing.) (But yes, Very weird for pics nubering 2007. (Maybe his clock isn't right))

...for all the reasons that this could be a fake, you pick the one that's easily explained away? I have pictures of myself at my college graduation, but they are dated 2000 (despite my "degree" saying 2005. Does this mean I faked my graduation? 'Fraid not, just that my new camera wasn't set to the proper time, and I am forever captured as the youngest looking 35 year old man in the world.
But yea, the homebrew launch is what...has been said about 20 times before here. Still, you're on the money there.

05/02/10- Oh no, everybody noticed this was BS!

05/02/10- We are recovering from a complete HD failure.

06/02/10- Ok ok I just invented more BS so this project is active again, and will be released obviously after a real hacker releases his project so I can say It was stolen from me . Stay tuned!

But seriously, I don't know what to make of this guy. He's letting the hoax go on way further than just a video and running off, so...I really don't know what to say.
 
I actually posted here before going to the chat and saying "This is as fake as it can be" obviously he was gonna kick me for that :S

Also If you read all the pages in this thread you'll notice more than one thing that tells you this if fake. And you'll also notice I have been making fun of this since it appeared.

Not too surprising. A few years ago there was a hoax homebrew web browser that got everyone excited (it had a funny name, but I can't remember what it was). All the guy did was take a screenshot of Google and use Moonshell to display it, and lots of gullible people completely fell for it. All he did after that was make a blog post every few months saying development was continuing, and he managed to get some people to believe in the "project" for more than a year. It was pathetic.
 
Well It's less than a week usually hoaxes take longer :S . As it was stated there was one that lasted more than a year. Also look at this forum you'll see many threads with fake stuff that ppl buy it for weeks or months.

Don't waste your time in there guys.

Only real hack known is a save hack released by wintermute on 2 DSi enhanced games.
This real hack allow you to run a small homebrew in DSi mode, but not from a flashcart.
