Hacking Firm for r4i v5.0 3DS?

In the box says that you can download the firmware from this site http://www.r4i-gold.eu/downloade.asp
but my flashcard has the mark of 5.0 and when I copy the files from the web, it doesn't load the menu

That 5.0 is the cart version. it's not related with your firmware on your 3ds.

If your 3ds is already on 6.0 you need to wait for a firmware update for your cart on that site and then find someone to upgrade your carts firmware for you.
(btw that cart is a clone from http://www.r4ids.cn/ so maybe you will need to wait for a long time until you get a update for your cart, if ever)

you have extract the file right?
menu? means it cannot find the files it wants on the MicroSD

No. dont put a firmware that isn't specific for your cart. it may brick.

your cart looks like the one from this site ( http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/ ) they have a v5.0 too like yours. but like i said don't install any firm that is not specific to your cart you may brick it.

But like i said before if the cart is a new version made recently it should be compatible already with your dsixl so you shouldn't need to upgrade your cart. try to folow the instructions for regular use and if it doesn't work then start your patience game for a firmupdate for your cart

maybe the microSD is faulty
your not using the MicroSD to USB adapter that came with the card are you?
they have been known to corrupt files when transferred

can you screenshot the root of the microSD

you need to be using the files from here

no others will work
