Hacking Firelink software

Because of the fact that the software of the firelink flashcarts isn't updated since juli 2008, most of the new games aren't supported anymore. So now I want to know if it is possible to run wood / ysmenu / ... on it?
If it's possible, how do I have to do it, because I tried a lot but nothing worked for me.

No. Nobody ever got around to developing alternative firmwares for the firelink (or any other n-card clones). The only solution is to ditch the card and buy a new one.

Pretty much that cart is junk,it has no other alternative firmaware(NO Ysmenu and Wood r4)and the main firmware is already discontinued so just dump it and buy a better card like:
Acekard2i
Supercard dstwo
A Wood r4 compatible cart(Original r4,R4i gold,R4idsn and etc.)
Ysmenu compatible cart(Allot of r4 and dstt clones)
