one thing i hate about ff4 is:
when typing for example "gbatemp" (without quotes) it goes to google instead of directly to the site like it used to
you could just place a site bookmark in the toolbar...

That's a terrible solution.

If you hold shift while pressing enter, it will auto-complete the URL.

I've got some problems with text input fields.
Once I get focus, and I click inside it once again, it keeps the focus but I can't enter any text. it plays the error sound if I try to.
Firefox 4 for Mac, by the way...

ima stick with chrome
cool thanks for telling us your opinion .

i can't really get used to the feel of this new Firefox .
i remember i could press F6 and it would directly go to the address bar . now it doesn't work .
looks like they're adopting that glass look of Windows too .
*reads post*
*looks at keyboard*
*presses F6*
*looks back to screen*
*sees address bar highlighted*

Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair

Firefox 4 seems to be a tad bit faster than chrome or maybe it's just me.
But FF4 still doesn't provide as much screen space as chrome.

Guess they're equal.
Depends only on extensions now.
All depends on your layout...
As far as I know Chrome locks you into that one layout, while Firefox allows you to move practically everything.

I had quite some problems with FF4 after updating from the latest version of FF3, since I had atrocious slowdowns when watching videos.

Now I uninstalled everything (after saving my bookmarks and passwords of course) and reinstalled FF4. After importing my bookmarks and passwords and reinstalling my add-ons it finally works like it should: like a charm
