I have a question for translators. My friend told me this:

"The Ultima Bomb was thrown on Water Month, 12, 9 days after the Chapter 1 attack. In the Chapter 2 intro video it says Ice Month, 14, while in the Record section of the CC, it says Water Month, 14. Is this a translation error? How long is it since the Bomb drop? 2 days or 4 months?

Also, why in Chapter 1 it says "842, Water Month (2nd), 3", while in Chapter 2 it says "842, Ice Month (Jun), 14?''

Thank you :)

The Lorican Alliance was nuked by the Milites Empire with the use of their Ultima Bomb on the 12th of Water, 6:16 pm.
In the intro video of Chapter 2, it should be the 14th of Water. So, yes, this is a translation error that slipped through proofreading.

This is due to the similarity between the Kanji for water (水) and the Kanji for ice (氷).

As for the numbering of the months, we wanted the months to be easily recognizable not only for our translation purposes, but also for the players. They weren't numbered in the Japanese texts.
We initially used the abbreviated English names for the months like "Water (Feb)". However, that proved to be messy and difficult to read so we replaced them with their numerical order like "Water (2nd)".
It was neater and the numbers made it more intuitive.

That "Ice Month (Jun)" you see in the Chapter 2 intro video was an error that should have been changed to "Ice Month (6th)".

We sincerely apologize for these errors. :(

Does anyone have cheats for everything SPP related? I can't really be bothered to do any of the multiplayer stuff and I want access to all of that stuff.

No problem, we were just curious :)

Found a time cheat:
_C0 Deactivate Event Ring Time
_L 0x0014B4A2 0x000000A0
_L 0x0014EB8E 0x00000040
_C0 Activate Event Ring Time

Not a translation error per se, just a tiny inconsistency in a naming convention. Certainly nothing to be ashamed of since the Japanese version didn't even have those but you added them for clarity.

No exact time table on the first patch update so far, guys, but here's an (ongoing) list of the things that will be changed:

- Videos still displaying Japanese dates and unsubtitled timestamps will be changed to English.
- Font usage and date format in videos will be standardized.
- The Crimson Codex loading issue will be fixed.
- The tutorial text box for "Max Morale" will display correctly.
- Several small cases of missing periods and extra periods will be corrected.
- A small typo in Aki's dialogue at the beginning of the game will be corrected.
- The terminology referring to "Combat Exercises" and "Auxiliary Missions" will be standardized.
- Tutorials will be further improved and streamlined to improve the new player experience.
- The translation of the messages detailing lectures available in between missions will be improved.
- A tutorial box may be added explaining that the player must effectively choose what content to experience, and that all content can only be experienced through multiple playthroughs. (dependent on tutorial reformatting)
- Text will be revised to more clearly show the relationship between the four nations of Orience, and the multiple names used for each nation. (e.g., Byakko = Milites = the Empire)

To anyone who has patched this, mind sharing what your iso's CRC32 is after the merge/patch. I patched mine but would like to know that I did it correctly and knowing that others have the same CRC32 as mine would put my mind at ease.

Fake Edit: 2 small questions I had, what version is this patch? I'm going to assume its v2.0 because v1.0 can be found at http://www.romhacking.net/translations/1966/ but that one is quite old.

And is there a Readme or Document somewhere that most patches like this come with? Things like Known Issues, Update History, Credits, Special Thanks, etc. etc.

Will we be able to apply the update patch to an already patched ISO, or will we need to patch a clean one?

Is anyone else having random skips and stuttering speech? If so, does anyone know how to fix it? I really want to get into the story but I can't follow because random parts of the dialogue are skipped.

I'd like to second this request. I've found some cheats that give you max SPP, but that doesn't affect your SP Rank or the contents of the SPP Shop. If anyone has cheats to alter your SP Rank and unlock all the stuff to buy in the SPP Shop, I'd really appreciate it. I've been looking all over the place but haven't found anything yet.
