My money is on it having protection like FF:CC did. I'm not in a rush for it to get dumped when I get the feeling I'll be waiting longer for firmware updates to make it work.

I got MGS4 on last friday but I want to play It fully,so I just played the two first Acts and want to finish It in my vacations(Starting this friday),but It's so damn hard

FFTA2 would fill my gaming needs perfectly

Shot in the dark, but it's the belief of unknowns/independents dumping games that may be labeled improperly or might not even be a correct or working dump, etc. It'd be like buying lemonade in a brick-and-mortar store versus off of a kid on the street corner. Bad metaphor, I know. >_>

And, I was under the impression that Ring of Fates didn't have copy protection, just that either the dump was bad or there was something in general that made the game not work, as I had heard that the game was like that even on some legal carts.

Edit: And as already stated, I too am not finding it currently so I'm starting to think the rumors of an early dump are false. So far.

The cart hit stores today, so waiting for a dump might take a day or two, or more?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it won't be dumped today

No store around my area has it, as far as I know. Gamestop gets them a day late, Best buy might have it tomorrow though. Thats as soon as I'll count on for it.

Generally depends. Early dumps are usually the result of an early sale or people getting their hands on a copy way before the street date (like employees or the like). For normal sites, it would probably be at the end of the day by the earliest, and a couple of days normally. It takes time to rip the ROM, make sure it's perfect, and then submit it, then for sites to actually get around to uploading the file or splitting it if necessary.

As stated earlier, some people got the game early today or even before then, so as we speak the game might be getting online. Just be patient, those who pay have the advantage of time over us freeloaders. ;P

Played the PSP version but honestly I hated the game for some reason the camera, etc Hoping the DS version is my answer..

It looks like they are staying pretty true to the GBA version, with a few extras. If that is the case, it should be good.
