Gaming Final Fantasy: Ring of Fates

I have a problem:

I downloaded Final Fantasy: Ring of Fates from Hugocock and i have a G6Lite
When i beated the first boss i get a screen with two mog's (or somthing like that) and it says: Tank you for playing.

I have seen in the genral Final Fantsy: Ring of Fates topic that almost everybody has this problem.
But that topic is 78 pages long and I don't have the time to read it.

Is there a solution for this problem?
And if there is can somebody explain me how to fix this? PLEASE!!

Hi i have been following that 78+ page thread since the start. It seems there are some issues with some of the cards and some seemt o work fine. Im a M3 simply ds cardie and im stuffed till either R4 or M3 update their firmware. I have tried both R4 1.16 and M3's 1.12 and can confirm that they dont get rid of the " Thanks for Playing Screen".

So we just have to wait till they sort it and release newer firmware.

huh... my R4 is working. i updated to firmware 1.16 and i had no problems with it. why don't some people try it and tell me?

For G6 lite and others ... use test2 ips now recalled final version.

If you just need the fix grab the light Modfix.zip for noobs (0.3 Mbytes)

First versions were Demos versions so called V1 anD V2 ( with Rayder cheats code build from them ... check http://users.ameritech.net/rayder/3-16-08.zip for the revised version or check his signature and his massive CHEAT compilation thread for an update ! but use only the official final code from cracker not the 2 others alternate and intermediate codes : if you check them you will end with white screens or freeze sometimes ... the cheat will work only with few cards ... the modfix works for all )

First demos versions had some issues.

Test1, test2 are working 100% fine for me with an old G6 lite in safe mode. Some others tested them working also with others cards : read page 96 to 121 if you need help.

So 120FB658 00000000 is the only cheat needed & same for IPS: use only the final revised version ffccrof-MoDfix-final.rar ... or the Moogs will strike back by another way ^^

Now I recommend you to grab his tool (modfix.zip - 0.03MB ) since this is the lightest way to patch safely. No need of a huge database full of Pokemons code vs Moogles of Death

Thanks GHOST, that seems to fix it for R4 cards as well (1.16) -- over 90 minutes of continous playtime without any problems so far. Thanks for hacker who did the patch!

if you have update firmware 1.16 and use the cheat file from rayder it should work im on 21 minutes now...

All I did to fix it was played until 18-19 min then saved the game. I stayed at save screen till 20:01 minutes, saved again and then rebooted from save. Haven't had a problem since, no patch required.

I am using an M3 DS simply. I think this is the easiest way to get around this that doesn't require any patches or technical knowhow.

You will encounter the nag screen later again then ...randomly but not frequently ... the patch fix this easily ... your choice ;-)

EDIT: It works i'm in the second tempel now, it took long but after The legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass there is finally a good game for the NDS.
