Gaming FFVI save conversion help

i was wondering if anyone could help me by making a 128k .sav file from the second .sps on this page: http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/save/930370.html
that will work on an r4 with the ezflash 3 in 1 expansion pack
i've tried everything to no success. thank you in advance.

Load the game in VBA, import the .sps file (VBA calls it a Gameshark snapshot), then export a battery file. This .sav file will work in GBA ExpLoader, and most other 3-in-1 loaders.

EDIT: everytime i got to select a game it puts me back at the "Press Any Button" screen, what do i do?
