I intend to do nothing. I get sick of these days just made to buy people even more shit. Not necessary.
Exactly.
Love your father everyday and be normal.
Why do we need a dedicated RANDOM day o.O?
So people can have FB status about how much they love their daddies?

NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE, just saying! (not aiming at anyone here)

Buying expensive top-notch gifts for your dad does not show true love towards him.

A typical handmade card may even have more 'value' then your $2,000 worth of louis vuitton gifts.

Nothing.

I love my dad through and through, but I don't intended to buy him expensive things just because some random person decided to make 'Father's day' and earn more money through it.

Does it have any historical significance?
I think not.

Mother's day, Father's day, Valentine's Day, Children's day etc, all of them are marketing gimmicks.

I agree with you, gifts that come from the heart

are of more value than those bought by mindless spending.

EDIT: Message To People Hating On Their Dad/Or Maybe Mom Too:-
Remember guys, don't make fun of your parents or hate on them for some particular reason, because you know, in the future that same reason may become a part of you and soon your kids will hate you for the same reason and the chain goes on. Hating on parents only ruins your future, listen to this call and heed it while you have the chance, or else pay for it later in life.

Well, to be frank, I have a similar hatred with smile, but it's with my grand mom instead. You see, my dad was adopted and she mistreated him since young. Even today, she also mistreats him including me and my l'il bro thru horrible comments saying that 'you don't belong to the family'. I was terribly hurt.

People have their hatred for a reason, I understand how exactly smile feels.

Ugh, stop arguing.
If smile72 hates his dad, we can do nothing to make him love him.
It's better not to argue and invade random peoples' lives.

chris888222 My grandmother mistreated my mother when she was young and ended up kicking my mom out to live on the streets. I lok down on her to this day, just like I do on the rest of my garbage family.

I feel bad for these kind of people really, and the problem mostly resides in the west....the only sole reason being - improper raising of child. Anyways, lets not wander off-topic and start a debate (which I hate doing). Chill

When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
