No one wants a troll like you. Please sod off if you aren't going to help get something achieved.
Dude, it's been pretty well established that no one is getting anything achieved in this thread. The handful of us watching the thread are literally only still here to mock you or spectate the trainwreck. You're trying to replicate a crash that you have zero information about, without the save file in question, by playing a different version of the game and concentrating real hard or something, while focused on a random speculation in the thread that inventory caused the crash since that's the most common crash and we have literally no other information to go by. You document your struggles by literally posting inane updates like "Reached chapter 6!!". You're sailing rudderless around a lake that you believe is the ocean, on fire, and yelling at anyone that tries to point out that you're on fire and also that's not really the ocean dude you aren't gonna discover any islands in that lake.

You do you, though.

Well, Mister 23 posts, I would back off. nothing I've seen from your older posts has any form of credibility for you. You can follow a guide. Good job. Even a sheep can follow one,

I have made progress. At this point, I've got a save in my hands and I'm about to tear it all apart with a hex editor (not literally, just testing what file I edit to modify inventory data).

Can you at least explain how you will even achieve ROP execution?
I will find the data read when the inventory gets the items. It will at least cause the game to crash due to invalid garbage filling up inventory space, while (don't count on this) the garbage has a bit of info that will grab a payload/read a payload and get ROP execution. At this point, this is speculation.

look little feela, all you gotta do is one thing
1. learn how to script (idk the exact word but ye . . . )
Already got it taken care of. Thanks for some positive input. We need more contributions in this thread.

I would totally post another epic meemay according to @Sicklyboy but im just gonna site here and hope you chug some bleach.

I'm following this thread on hacking FE:Fates save data. Although the info is for FE:if, I am hoping that it can be re-used.
EDIT: FUUUUUU, has no info on save data locations for the important goodies. Only RAM values!

It seems you'll be fine using the Fates save editor. Does that count as hex editing?

I do hope Fire Emblem Fates has an exploit For Birthright, Conquest, & Special Edition copies hopefully there is a way to exploit it. Where it's like BaseHax when go and edit the name of your base name and goes into the exploit. This one would rely on editing castle name or quotes would be nice or just load the save for convenience. It's funny to see more Official Nintendo games having these exploits. It just shows Karma is a bitch for fucking over your fanbase! Nintendo deserves it, I show no sympathy.

The memory loading should be no different per version.
