Not at the moment. Smea is working on it though.

There is a cia version of JKSM but that requires Luma (or other CFW) to run so if you don't have CFW you can't use JKSM at the moment.

is it hard to get luna without access to homebrew. i updated my console for bank without searching ahead about this issue

@Arubaro yes, correct assumption. I can use my emunand backup in case, but would like to keep save games friends etc.. :(
Try updating your luma to 6.6.
As @Sketchy1 said, if you're sure you updated your emunand and not your sysnand, you can still use menuhax, because you are using menuhax on your sysnand (9.2)
You cannot boot emunand probably because you're using an old version of luma

Setting up any cfw requires some homebrew access-
If your less then 11.3 then you can set it up now.

thanks to everyone who helped. it works fine with the 16GB SD card. the expensive 64GB model just does not want to load the payloads. how I love that technical SHIT!

I cannot remember. I think I used HPformatter. But it says FAT32 and works fine (except for not loading payloads at boot).
And do you have a9lh?
Because if you have it, then that's very strange...
Maybe you don't have the payloads with the correct name?

If you're on 11.2 or below, you can.
If you're on 11.3, smea updated the payloads to work on 11.3, so you would be able to launch the homebrew launcher, but we don't have any kernelhax on 11.3.

To sum up:
If you are on 11.3, you can only use homebrew, not CFW at the moment

I have my homebre launcher installed as a cia, will that be affected too?

If so, I do not a 'hblauncherloader' folder on the root of my SD card, what should I do?
It is, yes, but smea updated his payloads, if you rename them, you can restore basic userland homebrew but cannot downgrade though.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

payloads load fine on another SD card. my 3DS seems to be just picky!
If the SD works on another device, then the 3ds just dosent support that brand

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
