Hacking Failure in hacking a 3DS

I will not remove anything from my SD card so, thank you very much. Also yes I am about to finalizing the hack and I had boot.3dsx since the begining. And if I reset the system completely will it keep the hack ?
This will be my final question until something went wrong again or if I am stuck but I don't think so. Thank you very much to all of you, your advices were very helpful !

The hack will survive System Format. But: Your saves not. Don't do that.
After System Format you would have to repeat the finalizing setup to get the essential homebrew software again on the Home Menu.

Take your time when doing the finalizing setup and follow the guide line by line.

He did got his 3ds to boot it was his extraction utility the problem
