For what it is worth I have to see/hear of a fake of the EZ5 and going back the only "fakes" of EZ stuff I have seen are the later stage xg-flash stuff which is analogous the R4 stuff we see now and the confusion between EZFA and EZFlash (not helped by certain vendors) back in the EZ2 era.
