I was told that if you try to extract 042.app with gally's extractor, it would corrupt it and would cause a brick. (actually, I did use gally's extractor when I semi-bricked my Wii

) I was told to use HowardC's U8Tool 9.0. The problem is, why is there such a difference inside 00000042_app_out?

Honestly, I can't even find health.ash after unpacking with HowardC's U8Tool. Can anybody shed some light on this?

Ah. I can't believe I overlooked something so simple. xD

I was going right into the "eng" folder and didn't even notice there was a "common". Thanks.

Mods may lock 'er up, if you please.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
