    It has the caption:
    Getting fatter - but it's too hard
    What does this mean? How does it portray the Kaiser?​

    The problem with art is its completely perceptive. What I may see may not be particularly be what you see.
    However my interpretation of this is that the kaiser represents dictatorship and it shows that no matter who tries the world as a whole isn't possible to hold in one persons power (I see this via him not being able to eat it)

    But as I said its entirelly perceptive

    It is a snide commentary on the hardness of kaiser rolls, and how it makes them difficult to consume and thus grow large from.
