There comes a time in everyone's life where they need to sit down and just... get it out of their system. Some people get a quick game in. Many people think the idea is shit (pun intended), but gamers I've talked to will not let such details as nature or public transportation (next thread!) get in their way.
The best games to play on the toilet are not "shit" games or shovel ware, but they're not necessarily the most acclaimed games either. Several qualities can make certain games great bathroom companions, and some otherwise great games not so much so.
I'll rate and detail the categories of Accessibility, the game's pick-up-and-go nature, Conductivity, how well it suits the bathroom, Controls, for those sitting down of course, and Saving ability, which is key to the restroom gaming experience. Disregard saving ability if you use a cart with working realtime save. For those briefing over I'll also rate them with some colors: green for the best, blue for passable, and red for not good. I'll also try to throw in another Pro and Con. Boxart courtesy of GBAtemp of course.

The self-professed "new old sudoku". Man has been playing pen-and-paper/newspaper games like crossword puzzles since the dawn of time, and their amazing portability has lead to many-a bathroom sessions. In the early '00s sudoku saw a huge boost in popularity, and cranking out simple number puzzles while cranking out the turds just seems... right. Picross/Nanograms go way back, and the Nintendo DS's premier Picross title remains faithful with many new twists. However I'm not counting the amazing wifi features or puzzle creation, I'm just talking discussing things in terms of bathroom friendliness.
Accessibility: Wonderful!
The game is easy to turn on and get going! It checks for suspended game data off the bat. The game is also relatively easy to learn, and is a cinch for anyone experienced with other numbers games like sudoku.
Conductivity: Wonderful!
The game has different tile themes which are all very clean. Small number thinking puzzles are also perfect for the crapper!
Controls: Great!
There are two control schemes, one holding the buttons and tapping the screen and the other one choosing your tool and tapping/sliding. Either is very conducive to the game, and gives plenty of time to mull the board over.
Saving at any time: Check!
Suspend data, so one at a time.
Pro: Nifty animation when you finish a puzzle. Tee-hee!
Con: Takes a bit of time to get used too.

Accessibility: Great!
EVERYONE knows Tetris. I personally find it can take too many menus to get to what you want. There are a lot of game modes though and they're all good enough. If you've finished marathon, there's a good chance your interest in a match will wane when your session's done. Otherwise you'll find yourself done in the bathroom and still going strong in Tetris.
