Gaming eShop midnight release?

Does Nintendo do eShop midnight releases? Waiting for Animal Crossing and would be sad if its not released tonight at 12...
I'm EST and I think NoA is EST.

Yes. There will be midnight release. It even states this on the Eshop. "Animal Crossing New Leaf at Midnight"

They advertise this as a (downloadable) midnight release in the eShop. I'm hoping it goes up at 9PM PST. I can picture it taking a few hours to download and I want to play it before daylight tomorrow.

If you mean that a US on an Europe connection has to wait until the 14h, that isn't true. US ds in europe can download the game tonight.

Heck, it doesn't even need a source. Most Nintendo eShop retail games have gone up at midnight EST, as New Leaf will be. Do a quick Google search and scroll through pages of evidence.

Yep, all of the Nintendo eShop releases are EST Midnight. I probably have grabbed every single new Nintendo release in this manner so it would be crazy for me to stop now.

Also I haven't played Animal Crossing since Gamecube so this should be a fun treat.
