It's because you injected your current nand into your emunand, and your nands are still linked. It's loading menuhax when u boot into emunand. To fix this, install and run the tinyformat cia/ 3dsx to unlink your nands. Run it on sysnand, re-install menuhax, and change the theme on your emunand.

with the new a9lh guide being easier (and only really a little more effort than it is to set up emu/rednand), there's no real reason for new users to be going to emu/rednand. it's better to start now, it will prevent several issues in the future.

Don't force him. If he doesn't want arm9loaderhax, than he doesn't want it. Just help him.
I don't see why everyone gets upset when someone suggests A9LH as a replacement to circumvent 80% of the problems with MenuHacks. I agree it's not an overall "fix it" if people like their current setup but what's wrong with suggesting something that works? To each their own of course but I don't get the ongoing battle of A9LH and "if it's not broke don't fix it".

I don't really see any cons to A9LH in comparison to menuhacks. It's like a set it and forget it and completely reversible but I get what you're saying.

A9LH doesn't allow the 3DS to boot without an SD (at least not without issues).
And since the first post that mentioned A9LH here also mentioned getting rid of emuNAND, that may cause problems with Gateway too.

Now, I'm not saying I care about these problems, they are just problems that everyone can decide if they are important or not, and one should ask the OP about his setup (Gateway or not ? for example) and preferences, not just tell him "here's the best setup" without knowing if it fits his needs, even if it's the "masterrace" setup.

I agree with you guys. I'm not the one who originally suggested it, I just didn't understand the hate for anyone suggesting it these days, that's all...

I would argue that being unable to boot without SD is not as bad an issue as it sounds, because most people wouldn't use their system without an SD card. even if they lose it, the only file needed is 'arm9loaderhax.bin'. if someone really needs it, they can try out the SD-less a9lh. I think it still needs proper reboot patches.

(Most) reboot patches work, but DS carts don't right now, which is what's holding back a stable release.
huh, the build I have also doesn't seem to have region free, as my out-of-region CIAs don't appear when I boot it. Is that already implemented?

Thank you :D @Giodude my problem is gone :) now my friend can enjoy his 2ds, thank you everyone i know about arm9loaderhax i have it on my 3ds XL but the 2ds his not mine, it's for a friend and he doesn't want to take the risk of downgrading to 2.1, i think both have his pros and con, but i didn't post this for this :c thank you for your help and let's just play our games whit our favorite entry point, thank you for all guys :D
