Hacking Question Error 2144-0001 when trying to activate SXOS license?

I had issue on second switch. I deleted the version 1.9 boot.dat and replaced with the 1.6 version. Went to activate on console using internet, it said licence was already being used but then allowed me to enter and activate code. It worked and generated license.dat for my new machine. I took memory card out, backed up my license then replace the 1.6 version of the boot.dat with the 1.9 version and everything is working fine. Hope this helps.

Maybe you should read that it has been solved. And post something more useful then what you have.
