Hardware Error 003

Had a Wii with 4.1 (EUR) Menu, With Korean hardware ID...
Before all updates were OK And with no probs, as from 3.3 to 3.5 and after 4.0 and 4.1
But after update to 4.2 the console shows me a sort of banner brick showing Error:003 unauthorised device has been detected.
The task is to find solution for fixing this, or at least solutions to avoid that annoyng problem.

4.2 Blocks most homebrew

by updating to system menu 4.2 you have killed homebrew on your wii... FOR NOW. Most worryingly you no longer have a safe way to fix a brick as bootmii and preloader have been pwnd!

there will likely be a fix/workaround out in the next month or 2 but untill then, Nintendo own your ass.

4.2 Affects:

Bannerbomb - Doesn't work. Use Indiana Pwns or Comex's SmashStack beta.
BootMii - BootMii will cease to exist. Wait for an update to the HackMii Installer.
Homebrew Channel - It is uninstalled with this update. See above.
cIOS - Popular piracy cIOS locations are stubs. Don't pirate.
Preloader 0.29 - Not loaded any more due to IOS70 being used as the System Menu. Wait for an update.

Deletes most homebrew.
Now uses IOS70. (No Preloader due to that)
Wii Shop Channel updated. Use WiiSCU to update the shop channel.
Most of the IOS's have been updated or stubbed.
Updates your boot2 to boot2v4 (what LU64+'s have). (That means no downgrading of any IOS, and due to that, you can't revert back to your old System Menu. So BootMii as boot2 installed is removed.)

It shouldn't mess with modchipped Wiis
But You gain nothing from updating so why update?

Obviously it is messing with some chipped users since it's giving this guy (and others) error 003.

same problem with this f***ing 003 error
i was asked to make an uodated when i went to the wii shop.

now no matter what i do it's Error 003 when i turn it on !

did you find any solutions ?

What the... so some modchips are affected after all or what? Can people specify if they have a chip and which model? This need to be properly denied/confirmed.

ok, My friend got me this Wii from Thailand a week ago so i don't know much about it ,i can tell you that it came with the softchip R90
Gemma backing , Homebrew channel and was with a mod chip Instructions booklet Korean software English .

went to the wii shop to get more stuff (got the opera browser the day before) and was told to go to the system manu to make an update
(probably was the 4.2) as soon as the update finished i got a black screen saying :

"ERROR :003
UNAUTHORIZED DEVICE HAS BEEN DETECTED ."

I tried to take out the SD card and other pluged items with no changes
tried to hold the Reset while turning on with no changes .

the only screen is this black on with the Error .
i took a photo of it you can see it as my personal photo

since it as started today i think that in a week time there will be 10000000000 unhappy wii users

Try calling them. Be prepared to listen to a long lecture on how modding a Wii is bad.
