I previously followed the Miiverse steps wrongly, and now corrected it.
now got 022-2501

I wonder how many of the banned players also pirated the early copy of the demo before that came out as well. I had it early, but uninstalled it's ticket and the game once it was out on eShop and reinstalled it.

How do I check if I'm hyper banned so far only have seen the 0102 error that can be fixed right when I get home by replacing the localfriendcodeseed
I don't have a nnid linked to my system cause I use freeshop if that helps

Oh so just go to eshop and I can instantly see if I banned even though I don't have nnid

YouTube, the Friend List, and anything Nintendo-internet-related that isn't the Internet Browser will give errors if you're hyperbanned. You can access the eShop and Miiverse if you wipe your NNIDsave, but that's about it.

I can access YouTube fine, never had the 022- error, just 002-0102, and got rid of 002-0102 already. Do you think I'm okay?

Hmm. It didn't work for me, gave me 002-0102 and "You cannot use online services on this device" when I tried. Unless you mean the N3DS browser version.

If I can still access the eshop, am I not banned? I've accessed the Festival Plaza but don't think I've actually used the online feature

Oh, I mean post 002-0102 circumvention. I never had an issue with eshop, etc, just Friends list, but after circumventing 002-0102, it appears as if I can access everything like I never had a a ban to begin with.

---HOW TO UNBAN URSELF THX NINTENDO LOLOLOL BEST TUTORIAL 2019---

1) get a non-banned 3ds
2) dump the LocalFriendCodeSeed_B with decrypt 9 by opening d9 > sysnand options (or emunand if its the case) > system file dump > dump LocalFriendCodeSeed_B
put it inside the decrypt9 folder of your sd root
3) in your 3ds follow the same steps but use the system file inject option instead
also, make a dump of your own LocalFriendCodeSeed_B (just in case)
4) (seems like this step can be skipped and you wont lose your friends list) once you injected the seed, go to some kind of file manager like godmode9 and delete the files inside:

nand://data/id0/sysdata/00010032/

The other depends on your region:
Japan:
nand://data/id0/sysdata/0002008D/

USA:
nand://data/id0/sysdata/00020096/

Europe/Australia:
nand://data/id0/sysdata/0002009F/

this will reset your friend list

Did everyone who received the ban play online? I've been playing Sun for almost a week and no ban. I have not connected to online services however.

You can keep your already existant fc if you skip step 4 or you can generate a new one if you do it.
You wont have the same fc. However, if either of you gets banned, both consoles will end up banned (it should work like that)
