Privacy hasn't been a thing for years. That said, most people aren't really that interesting to have an FBI agent watching them all the time, and it's not like they have unlimited resources and manpower to handle everything you do. What they do with the data they gather from you is pass it onto an algorithm (or AI) to make a psycological profile of you, usually to sell you stuff, but it can also be used for political purposes which I think is the worst and most sinister aspect about it.

Only premium content for me I got lost in fatal insomnia and got terrified that I couldn't fall asleep lol. Kept me on my toes though so that's always a plus.

That's awful! Look like threat our and people privacy and personal info. Not sure if anyone can spoofing IP address, random user agent name, etc to fool man in middle, evil government, hackers or not?

End of privacy in the US was when Snowden risked everything to be a whistleblower and the general public collectively shrugged.

Been saying this for years. Snowden was a hero and the people just collectively ignored him. Tragic.

This Online Safety Bill of the U.K. goes along with the Digital ID they announced some months ago. I only remembered the Digital ID thing after reading this thread's title.



Well, looks like England is trying to eliminate whatever privacy they have left. Even a VPN won't necessarily help them too much.
