Suggestion Emoticon list in the simple text editor

Could we get the smiley/emoticon button in the simple text editor as well, please? The rich text editor is too disorienting for me, but the simple text editor doesn't have smileys, in the light theme at least. Or am I just unable to find it?

Yeah, https://gbatemp.net/account/preferences and turn off "use the rich text editor..."

Alternatively, if you don't want to use it all the time, the button with the spanner in the top right corner swaps between the two
