It's a good thing EA produces some of the best video games of this generation..
In any case, EA's introduction of Origin and taking out their titles from Steam distribution is one of the most spiteful moves I know. I hate Origin so much but I have to use it to play Battlefield 3 :glare:

I wouldn't call it spiteful; it just makes good business sense to sell your titles only on your service to attract customers.

I'm no fan of Origin either, but let's be honest. Any company (Valve included) would have done the exact same thing in their place.
And that I agree.

I still dislike EA for coming up with Origin instead of just selling their titles on Steam.

Not to say that Origin is bad (it still has it's issues, particularly with BF3 Online), I've used it for Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield 3. I just prefer to stick with one online content provider.

and their patches are a joke they actually make things worse they have fucked up the latest sims patch 3 times in a row now!
Supposedly they make that on purpose to make you buy the latest expansion which always has an exclusive patch.
nope the patch that came with showtime is also for the original game 1.31

I agree with you on that. It doesn't help EA that Origin is a worse experience when it comes to using it compared to Steam.

Related video.
Plus, they can't even remember their own game's names; keep getting confused between 2009 and 2008.

A funny little ad... oh no?

And how did they forget their own game's names? It's pretty obvious they were just using a fan reaction (that apparently went viral, or was just staged for the commercial) to the previous game to promote the newest installment.

All the anti-gay people probably teamed up and made sure to low vote EA.
