canyou burn wii games on dvd+r??
It depends on the brand and your wii.
For some people it works and for others it don't.
Personally for me, gamecube games work on +R but wii games only work on -R's.
Just try it out and see what happens.
I use Sony DVD+R. Works fine for me
you can safely use +r, but as stated depends on the brand, which is also true for -r. i have some wii games burnt on +r, most are -r, all my gc games are +r - both work fine
I'm using TDK DVD+R for all my games.
If your burner is able to, setting the book type for DVD-R to DVD-ROM could improve the compatibility. (using Nero tools for example)
i used verbatime dvd+r once (they ran well), bought the same again when they got empty and i got disc-error! donno why
so i think good dvd-rs are the better choice. now i use sony dvd-r (had no problem with them )
I only use DVD+R. And it doesn't matter which brand, as long as you have the average/high quality DVD+R's you're fine. I tried dozens of different brands and never had a bad burn. YAY!
That's a general problem.
If you buy another charge of media (another pack) chances are they have completely different write set up and write information. So to be exact you might have to check any new package of media with your burner and different write settings to get optimal results!
