I don't know if there's anything you can do with it I just got bored today so I built an eeprom reader and soldered it on to my max media dock and dumped this file.

I must sound like a retard, but were did you get instructions for the eeprom reader. Also: What IC chips were their? (skylite)

(Time to check instructables)

I used the same design as the xbox eeprom reader (because I had to use it on my xbox anyways)

just 2 4k resistors, a serial port and 2 zener diodes

I used pin 8 or at least the eigth pin from the left on the cf card reader as a ground and put it in my ds and turned it on to supply power.

as for what ICs... other than the eeprom there is one major ic thing on there but it's mostly faded out on the front but heres what I can make out.

thats probably not completely right but close.

Edit: judging by my google results its probably a CY7C68300B-56PVXC

I had made my own eeprom one for my 360. It's called a unicorn.
If you don't mind could you please take a picture of the guts?

useless... maybe

but it's not a sav file. when put in a hex editor you can make out a few words like datel and some others I can't remember. I don't know where they show up. Probably when you plug it into your pc via usb.

that means this is probably the mmd firmware.
