just tried it works but still in beta but still relives the good old game

the dog isnt there and to go back to HBC press the home and small ducks

What is so dated? It is a light gun game, point and shoot. Other than more dynamic environments these games haven't changed since their inception.

In summary, if you have a chance play the original and feel the shame that comes with missing all the ducks and having your trusty dog point and laugh at you. Stupid F'ing Dog.... You shoot the gun if it is so easy and I'll pick up the dead!

Edit: I made a real quick and dirty icon.png for the HBC. Simply a box art crop. No time right now but I wanted something.

Is there any documentation or a forum where the author of this is posting? I loaded this up and yes it is Duck Hunt but barely ie: doesn't keep track of how many shots you took, how many ducks you killed, ducks spawn from same place every time etc. Obviously this is just the first version but I would be curious as to what is planned etc.

I'm glad to see this finally done but to be honest I've played flash versions through the web browser that offered a fuller experience. But maybe there will be updates. It's on wiibrew, but the only development info i see is the creator Knight0fDragon

How would adding wii controls to an already light-gun game make the game any better?

This is supposed to offer the same type of experience as the original since unless you own an NES, there is no way to truely play Duck Hunt. That being said, hopefully he will update this since it does seem more like a very early Beta or a PoC then an actual release. Much like the Touhou Wii game, yeah it works but you're not going to spend hours playing it until it has more features.

Indeed it is cool, I used to play Duck Hunt every morning at my friends house before school started. Damn that was so long ago...

I also agree that Hogan's Alley should be next, but I also would love to see Operation Wolf

It's nice to see a Duckhunt recreation. Wiiplay is cool, but it only has one stage with the ducks.
